Dear BTWB support,

I'm experiencing a problem regarding my fitness level. I did the 5k row again, but the level doesn't update.
I have tried to just update the score. Now when I click on the endurance tap at the fitness level then it shows my old score, but when I subsequently click on the time then it shows my new score.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Bjorn

    Hey Bjorn,

Anyone can build a workout via Log or the Plan page and choose Units set to the source workout. For example, if I go and log "run" and set it to Single Distance of "10 km", then my result generates and links to "Run 10 km TT" with the prescription being in km. I can also do the same thing but put "10000 m" and this will link to "Run 10000 m TT" with the prescription being meters.
The simple fix would be to just merge the 2 source workouts that are generated from the separate units. But, the next moment anyone logs the opposite unit again, it will be created.

We will later add some stuff on our end that will "link" or "umbrella" workouts like this since they are technically the same, but until then, they are separate.

Have no fear though as Fitness Level is smarter than this. Fitness Level checks the entire site for any intervals of Run set to 10 km OR 10000 m, and gives you a rating based off whatever it finds. Doesn't matter what workout the result is attached to.

So in your case, your 5k row was saved to your fitness level, it just was not noted in your benchmarks. If you log any of these WOD's you can click on the actually workout and log from the actually movement instead of creating your own. If you want it to show in your benchmarks, you can delete and log from there. But it has been saved to your fitness level.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Toni
